<div>We want to ask for support for the medical treatment of Michelle, a 8-year-old girl from Nairobi, Kenya.

<div>She lost her brother during the demonstrations in Nairobi in 2024, and she lost her parents in 2025, mainly due to a lack of medical support and poverty.
</div>

</div>
<div>She suffered a bad attack by a street gang in in February 2026 and had recovered well end of March. But she was not released from hospital because we could pay only 80% of the bill.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now, she has a nervous breakdown because she has been in the hospital too long and because her guardian went missing (she reappeared, but still cannot visit Michelle).
</div>

</div>
<div>She needs urgent treatment:
</div>
<div>- Medication 29,754 KES (~ 200 EUR)
</div>
<div>- Bed charges 77,554 KES (~ 510 EUR)
</div>
<div>In total: about 710 EUR
</div>

<div>If she is not discharged, it will continue to accumulate. She might need more medication after the elapse of this week. The doctors are closely monitoring her.
</div>

<div>On the 20th of April, she had a hospital accumulated balance of 339,400 KES (~2245 EUR) from her previous treatments. We will have to pay at least have of it to get her discharged from hospital and back to school.
</div>
