Medical Support Recovery from Spinal Infection

I keep hoping that I am getting better day by day, but I wake up in the middle of the night (every night) four or five times in terrible pain on my lower spine. Each time I have to roll little by little to get to the edge of the bed in order to lift myself up out of bed. I try so hard to do this quietly so I don’t wake up Juan but the pain is so terrible that I’m usually moaning and whining to just get out of bed.
This has been my life from last October to now.
I can’t stand very long but I can walk w/out the walker several steps. I realize that I am blessed to be alive and it’s going to take time to recover. I keep telling myself to be positive but it’s not easy. I’m just so tired of always hurting. Every time I talk to GOD I ball my eyes out because I know it’s a blessing I am still alive. I’m asking that you please take a moment to pray for me and my recovery.
I have a doctors appointment coming up on January 28th and I will update my progress
❤️Live every day with joy and be kind ❤️

I was supposed to return to work on October 30th but still could not walk or pull myself out of bed. My last day of work was October 18,2024 and I resigned on October 26,2024.
I was admitted to Ascension Kyle Hospital on October 28,2024.
I found out I have abscess on my spinal cord at L4-L5 with a major infection. The infection is MSSA and I was septic. I’ve had 2 MRI’s , 1 CAT scan, Ultrasound of my right foot, and at least Bloodwork once a week.
I am receiving antibiotics in a port in my right arm that goes straight into the vein that runs next to my heart. I was transferred on November 15,2024 to Ascension Seton in LUILING because it is a charity hospital. Please keep me in your prayers.
  • If it wasn’t for Juan bringing me when he did to the hospital on October 28th, I would not have made it through the night. I have MRSA with Sepsis on my spinal cord. I am recovering but very slowly. Juan is my love, my best friend , and my everything. He has always gone out of his way to love and care for me and he brings me joy in my heart❤️
