Medical Support for Robert Phillips
Robert was recently diagnosed with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP; or the Steele–Richardson–Olszewski syndrome). It is a very rare degenerative disease that results in the deterioration or death of some regions of the brain that control thinking and motors skills. There currently is no cure for the disease. However, some treatments can help manage the symptoms for a short period. This disease ultimately will affect Robert's ability to function in typical day to day activities. This disease has already started to affect his ability to communicate and some movement. These donations will help with his medical costs and care as the condition continues to take over his body. Other ways that you can help is by donating to research organizations that are working on cures for degenerative brain diseases. Please keep Robert and our family in your prayers as we learn to navigate this new normal.
