Med student needs car to serve village clinic

We have been supporting the education of Magdala, a 3rd year medical student in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti.  She is the only medically trained person in her home village of Jacmel where she has been running a monthly clinic for malnourished children  assessing, treating with nutritional supplements, and following up with results that have been remarkable.  She now finds herself in need of transportation in order to continue the clinic in this very needy area.  This is a three hour drive and to accomplish this she is in need of a reliable car as there is no longer any other safe method of transportation.  In addition to this, due to circumstances beyond her control, she has had to move and find  more affordable housing which places her at location further from her school and also presents a safe transportation issue. For this reason we are trying to secure funds for this very hard working young lady to purchase a reliable car.
