Medical Relief for Troy

Hello Everyone,

My name is Lisa Koenen and my sisters are Susan Fisher, Sandy Nash and Tami Chandler. Today we are writing on behalf of Troy Nylund. Troy is the nephew of myself, Susan and Sandy. He is the son of Tami Chandler.

Troy is a wonderful, giving and caring person. He is a CNA at the Guardian Angels Nursing home, where the residents love him, and he is always willing to go the extra mile for friends and family as well as his beloved animals. Those of you who know him understand how helpful he always is at family gatherings, club activities and any projects at home that you may need help with. He can always be depended upon to lend a hand whenever needed. (Cabin Boy) :-)

We are very disheartened to report that Troy has recently fallen ill and it is our turn to help him out! He started with a virus that made him feel like he had a cold but then it started affecting his heart. He had an ambulance ride to Duluth and spent a few days in the hospital in St. Lukes. He had emergency expenses with diagnostics and labs. His Ejection Fraction Measurement is at about 30-35% and his rate of recovery will determine when he goes back to work which could be 6 months or more.

So we are coming to you in hopes that we can raise some funds to help him pay medical bills and living expenses while he is trying to recover. His insurance will not cover everything and he will not be receiving income for quite some time. We don't want him to feel pressured to have to go back to work too early because he needs to pay bills. This would add to the risk of catching cold or flu which would be extremely serious for him and set his recovery back.

We appreciate you all and your support so much! Your donation in any amount will go a very long way to helping Troy concentrate on recovery and not so much on the impending bills. Thank you!
