Medical / Hurricane Harvey loss

Dr. Drury Woodson and his wife Meridene, from Dickinson, TX, are facing a difficult path ahead. Dr. Woodson was admitted Friday, 18 August 2017 for a heart catheterization procedure. After a series of tests, it was determined that he needed a quadruple bypass which was completed on Monday 21 August 2017. Dr. Woodson has had some complications from the surgery and remains in the hospital indefinitely.
At the same time as he faces mounting hospital bills, Dr. Woodson and his wife now face significant flood damage in their home, as Hurricane Harvey flooded the bottom floor of their home in Dickinson, TX. Additionally, the Woodsons' vehicle was lost to the flood.

Dr. Woodson now faces recovery from major open-heart surgery and the loss of his home and car at the same time. His ability to work in his capacity as an internal medicine physician is uncertain but is bound to be delayed as he recovers from the surgery.

Contributions small and large will be used to assist the Woodsons with rebuilding their home and lives and for paying hospital bills from Dr. Woodson’s surgery and hospital stay.
