Medical Help-2 Sisters Burned and Poisoned

Two Orphaned Children in Kenya Need Immediate Medical Care.

Praise is 5 years Old, Doricus is 13.

Their Stepmother tried to kill them with poison, and then with hot oil. Thankfully they were rescued!

Dorcus and Praise are now safe at Blessings Hope Center. But they need medical care.

Here is the letter I received from my dear friend Sam today, asking help for Praise and Doricus:

"Hi Sister Connie, praise God, hopefully you are doing well. The attached pictures is two orphans whom we have rescued today from the hands of the stepmother who burned them with hot cooking oil, after attempt to kill them by poisoning them. (Doricus 13, and Praise 5) Please we need your prayers.

We are needy of $600 so that we can take them in the hospital for further treatment. We have been advised by our Nurse because we don't know maybe the poison is affecting them slowly. So your prayers are even more important.

We love you and praying for you always. Pass our love and regards to all.

Blessings Hope Center began when more than 10 years ago Pastor Samuel rescued three siblings from the dangerous streets of Kenya.

Since then, Sam, his wife Sharon, and their team have rescued 450 orphaned children. These children all live together at the center, which also feeds and educates impoverished children and adults from nearby villages.

I met Sam and Sharon, their team and many of these lovely children when I was in Kenya in 2015, speaking at a conference. My heart was broken by the beauty of the work they are doing, and by the heartache that neccesitates it.
