Medical Handicap Vehicle for Sherry

On the night of May 3rd, my wife sustained a terrible injury. A few weeks prior she had come down with the flu. The morning of the injury she had been feeling extremely bad, so I told her to leave work early. Later on that evening she wanted some juice, so she walked from our bedroom to our stairs. She made it down the first set of stairs, however, as she got to the second set, she began to feel woozy. She sat down and called out for me, but I was in the garage at the time so my nephew answered her. All of a sudden I hear my youngest daughter shriek and then a thunderous thud. I ran as fast as I could to see what happened. Nothing could ever prepare me for what I saw. My heart was broken. My wife laid there at the bottom of the stairs in a motionless heap.
When Sherry, my wife, made it to the second set of stairs, she lost consciousness and tumbled down the stairs. On the fall down she crashed her head into the wall and shattered parts of her vertebrae, and as a result of the fall, she lost all her movement and feeling from her neck down.
Although it looked like it was a hopeless situation, we kept our faith. Now 8 weeks later, she has regained some movement above her waist, and there has even been some involuntary movement in her legs.
Through it all, we believe that Sherry will be walking again!
Now we need your help! Until Sherry is walking again, we need a handicap accessible vehicle so that we can transport her to her doctor and also to her therapy appointments. Unfortunately, the price of these vehicles is very costly. They run up to $84,000, and of course, with this being an unexpected expense, we need as much help from our family and friends as possible!
Although this will be a blessing to our family, we also believe in being a blessing to others! When Sherry is fully healed, we want to donate the vehicle to a family in need.
