Medical Funds 4 The Franks:Andrew’s Cancer Battle

Hello and Thank you in advance for taking the time read this to learn more about helping the Franks Family. 

My best friend’s husband was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 solitary fibrous sarcoma of the pelvis. A large mass was discovered after an ER visit and was found to be about 23cm long which is close to the size of a football. It's completely compressing Andrew’s left ureter and he currently has a nephrostomy tube to keep his kidney from swelling. He has already completed 5 weeks of radiation to his abdomen. Andrew’s surgery is scheduled for September 14th for 8 hours with 2 surgeons (a sarcoma specialist and a urologist) at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL. 

The tumor is adhered completely to his bladder and his prostate, so both have to be removed with the tumor. However, they won't know if anything else will have to come out until they get inside and can see what's going on. We do not know at this time if he will have to do any treatments following the surgery.

Andrew is currently unable to work, so they are

living off one income to support their family of 5 which includes 3 boys who started VPK, 5th grade and 8th grade this year. 

Jenna is working full-time as a Labor & Delivery RN & also has a second job with Rowan piercing ears at various Target locations in the Tampa Bay area. She has also picked up multiple weeks of night shifts to help make extra money to cover current  medical bills and support her family with a single income. They will still need help covering medical costs associated with the upcoming surgery and a large medical family annual out of pocket cost, which will start over again in January 2023.

Jenna is such a giver to everyone she meets & she means the world to me! I ask that you do the same for her and her family and give what you can to help them make it through this difficult time.
