Medical and Memorial Fund for Mama Ave Orbeta

MESSAGE FROM ORBETA FAMILY (updated as of Jan 2, 2020)
An appeal to all our families and friends. We are deeply grateful to all of you who have been continuously praying for our mother Avelina Orbeta who had been admitted in the ICU on Dec 14, 2020 in Makati Medical Center.
To give you some details, she underwent an open heart surgery 10 years back. She was due for a follow up consultation despite not having any complaints but her physician discovered she had an alarmingly low hemoglobin and bacterial pneumonia. She needed an emergency chest tube thoracostomy after her left lung collapsed and was placed on a respirator to help her breath. She was clinically unstable and needed to be managed in the ICU for critical care. She had to be on several dose of antibiotics and have underwent lab works and treatments.
Despite of these efforts for the last three weeks, we regret to inform everyone that Mama Ave passed away on Jan 2nd 2:45 PM Philippine time. We humbly ask you to offer a prayer for the repose of her soul and for a stronger faith, understanding and strength of the entire Orbeta family.
Having said all these, we, her children and siblings are knocking on your generous hearts to help us raise fund for Mama Ave's medical bills and memorial fund. As of Dec 28, the medical cost is at Php 1,251,309.94 and running. We realized that even if we do have stable jobs and own family to support, a much-needed GoFundMe campaign would be of great help in our situation.
