Medical Fund for Joe Neelon

My dear friend, Joe Neelon, was recently diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease.  The symptoms are the result of the gradual degeneration of nerve cells in the portion of the midbrain that controls body movements. These symptoms include muscle stiffness, tremors when resting, balance problems, freezing in the middle of an action, stooped posture, and changes in speech. 

After diagnosis, treatments can help relieve symptoms, but there is no cure. Joe has started a treatment regimen, however the treatment that has the best hope of slowing the progression of this disease and alleviating symptoms is very expensive.

I am raising these funds to be able to help provide Joe with the medication and treatment he needs and deserves.

 The funds will be used for his on-going medical costs for treatment, including medications and co-pays. Any help you can give to Joe and his family is greatly appreciated.
