Medical Fund for Ashton Joob

Donation protected
Ashton has Noonan’s Syndrome, a disorder that affects one chromosome...at PTPN11. He has one gene (SHP 2) that has a mutation which causes all of these changes in his body. It affects his learning too.  Ashton has a heart defect that needs to be monitored frequently with expensive tests. His growth is slow, so he needs nightly injections so he can grow properly and frequent visits to the endocrinologist for this. Ashton is far sided and has strabismus (eye turn out, especially on the left side). He needs vision therapy for this.
Ashton has been seeing a psychologist since last October,  almost every week. He has had anxiety over his diagnosis, nightly shots, being small for his age (he is still in fourth percentile even on growth hormone and he was held back in school a year), learning frustrations and being bullied some in school.
He has seen many doctors including a geneticist, endocrinologist, orthopedist, hematologist, audiologist, urologist, cardiologist, ENT, and opthalmologist. He has already had 3 surgeries. These bills have added up over the years. Insurance just denied the fourth and final appeal to cover his growth hormone injections, which he has to take until at least 16 years old. This costs hundreds of dollars a month. This would add up to $18,000 over the next 8 years.
Please consider donating to support this awesome kid and wonderful family so he can get the medical help he needs to thrive.
