Medical Fees for Sudden Death of Dorita's Husband

I first met Dorita after moving to Naples, Florida 3 years ago when we asked our neighbor for a recommendation for a cleaning lady.  Having lived in the Dominican Republic (me), for the last 15 years, we quickly fell in love with her when we found out she was from Costa Rica.  She spoiled us with her cooking and shared her own traditions with us because she enjoyed it!  We met her husband Onay when we had some issues with our A/C as he worked for an HVAC company and he was so kind to us.  They are both some of the most generous people we have ever met.


Dorita and her family returned to Costa Rica just a few days ago to be able to spend Christmas, New Years, and Dorita's birthday with their family.  Two days ago, Onay was in an accident and hit his head and was hospitalized.  He spent 2 days in the ICU and while they believed he was going to get better, he died last night.



This awful accident has left Dorita stranded with two kids, the youngest only 5 years old, and the inability to pay off medical expenses in Costa Rica or to have a funeral/memorial for her husband, Onay, much less be able to return to Naples to continue to work and provide for her family.  With COVID-19 continuing to be a rising issue, she has been forced to cancel most of her home cleaning jobs with the exception of us.  Without Onay, there will be no way for her to cover the expenses required for her kids to continue to go to school in the U.S.
Any amount of money is greatly appreciated and we thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.  We plan to surprise Dorita with whatever donations we receive our way and cannot express our gratitude enough for your assistance.
