Hello friends and family I'm reaching out to you today asking for your support, prayers and any donations for my Cousin, our Beautiful and Beloved Kayli or "K" (as Tyus-our 3 year old son calls her). Kayli was diagnosed today with Hodgkins Lymphoma.
Three weeks ago Kayli noticed a lump in her neck, which quickley transpired into a surgical biopsy of her neck and today we recived the unsettling diagnosis that nobody is ever prepared to hear. The "C" word, a word that changes your life and your perspective on life in seconds, a word that we all fear and never want to hear when referring to ourselves or our loved ones.

Kayli is 27 years old and in nursing school. Kayli works as a waitress to put herself thru school. As we all know, waiting tables doesn't come with an insurance plan. With everthing transpiring so quickly Kayli has rushed into finding any sort of insurance she could get to help aid in the medical bills. She was expeected to pay upfront for her biopsy surgery totaling $2400. This is just the start of a long road of treament and expensive medial bills. Right now the treatment options are looking to be radiation and/or Chemotherapy. We will meet with the oncologist in the next week to gather a complete plan.

Were asking for any donations you might be able to contribute to help her get thru the next step in her recovery process. Kayli is one to get overwhelmed and stressed. We wanted to start this page to help her feel a little more at ease with all she is going through, to hopelfully help keep her mind off worries about medical expenses and more on a positive outlook on her recovery.
Kayli is a strong, young independent woman and I know we will win this battle, we will not give up and we will conquer this with her.
