Medical expenses... please help my mom

My mom ( Brenda) drove her self to the hospital having back and chest pain had her granddaughter run into the emergency room to get help. They found out that her aorta was torn so she was rushed into emergency surgery to fix it. It was a life and death situation.. her heart surgeon said mom beat the odds by making it through the surgery. She was in the ICU from May 6th to May 15th... she had a lot of ups and downs. She ended up getting pneumonia and they keep her sedated for 5 days to help her body heal. She finally got moved into a different room on May 15th where she spent 5 more days before getting discharged from the hospital on May 20th. Brenda is doing very good for what her body with through. She is finally back at work but can only work for 1 to 2 hours a day. She just had another appointment they want her to wear a heart monitor which we don’t know if they the insurance will cover it. For her to get the heart monitor it will be 2,000 dollars. She had echo gram and she still has a leak and her heart is bigger then normal. My mom is feeling the stress of all the medical bills and not be able to work. So if anyone can help take some of the burden off my mom I’d appreciate it.
