Renee' Luttrell was the long time costume designer at Cumberland County Playhouse. On Thursday June 15th she suffered a massive stroke and was put under an induced coma and on a ventilator for multiple days. Unfortunately she did not make it through and passed away on June 19, 2017.
Renee' was a wife, mother and loved by everyone who knew her. She was also an integral part of the Cumberland County Playhouse family and the Tennessee theatre family. She brought smiles and joy to everyone she knew with not only her amazing costume designs, but her one of a kind personality as well. Their are very few in this world as caring, giving, and completely selfless as Renee' was. She spent her entire life giving and caring for others all the way until the end with organ donation. Almost every dime she could spare would go to children, or animals in need. So much so that she would only pay the bills she had to and every other cent would go to various charities. To the extent that even her own husband didn't know the massive amount she gave away to help those less fortunate than her without wanting any credit or acknowledgement whatsoever.
Unfortunately as sudden as this was the family has accrued a very large amount of hospital bills which are beyond their capability of paying. We are asking you to dig deep and give whatever you can to help out her family in this time of need.
