Medical expenses and Support for Stephen Small

On Sep 23, 2020, In Lathrop California Stephen Small, a single father of two small beautiful kids (2 & 7)  had just left work on his bicycle and on his way home when he was struck by a pick up truck head on with a impact force of roughly 60 to 70 mph. When Stephen was struck, he was smashed into the windshield of the truck and thrown into the air and landed on his legs, as a result to the accident, Stephen broke both femurs, both knee caps were shattered and his right tibia and fibula were broken which one femur was a compound fracture and needed a titanium rod inserted into his leg. His knee caps were so badly damaged the doctors tried to piece back together and save as much bone as possible.  So far Stephen has been through two surgeries with at least two or three more to come, we're not sure if there is any soft tissue damage at the moment but the doctors are only focused on long bones healing at the present time. Stephen is not able to stand, walk, or able to move his legs for at least the next eight weeks. As of this point in time we do not know how much his medical bills we be and he just starting working at Tesla and his insurance has not taken effect. As of right now, he has no income what so ever and Tesla terminated his employment due to him not being able to return to work since he was a recent hire. Stephen has a very long road to recovery and we do not know what the path of recovery is going to be like. He will never be able to walk the same again nor be able to keep up with his kids when they want to run and play\ . Anything at all will help, and the family thanks everyone in advance.
