With the permission of the Timeche Family, this GoFundMe account has been created to help cover the medical and other related expenses for Mike Timeche during a very difficult time.
If you have stumbled across this GoFundMe account, I can assume you have been lucky enough to know Mike Timeche and his family. I’m willing to bet that at some point in your life he has helped you in one way or another and touched your life somehow. If you know Mike, then you would know that he is the example of kindness. The man has a heart of gold.
If you know Mike and his family, then you would know that this has been an extremely difficult time for them for many reasons. Most recently, Mike was diagnosed with anti-NMDA receptor encephalitis. Mike has been in and out of the hospital for several months and has currently been in the hospital for a month now. Anti-NMDA Receptor Encephalitis is a very serious illness, and recovery is generally slow and may occur over months or even years. Fortunately, Mike is a fighter, however; this is a time where he needs all of us in his corner. To ensure Mike makes a good recovery, he will need long term medical services. With medical expenses piling up, and Mike unable to work, he and his family need our help. If you have stumbled across this account, and you don’t know Mike personally I would like to tell you a bit about him. Mike is an exemplary father, friend, employee, and community member. Mike is a dedicated father of five children and four grandchildren. Mike is the provider for his family. Mike is always the first person to offer a helping hand, he is the guy that would give you the shirt off his back. He has been a dedicated employee with the National Park Service for over 30 years. A life-long resident of Grand Canyon, Arizona and a pillar of our community. His family needs him, and our community needs him to make full recovery.
