What Happened:
Our dear beloved brother suffered a stroke on July 23rd in Branson, MO. He was rushed to the hospital however the doctors in Branson were unable to treat him due to the severe head trauma that he experienced. He had to be quickly transferred to Cox South hospital in Springfield, MO where he was admitted into the ICU. Taking into account his very critical condition, the medical staff in Springfield stated that he likely would not survive. They determined the best course of action was to induce him into a coma in order to allow his head to naturally heal with time. John was in a coma for 4 days.
The Healing:
By God's grace and His mercy, John's critical head injuries were healed by the time he woke up from the coma. The doctors were shocked that he survived because the odds of recovery were definitely stacked against him. His doctor even stated that this is living proof that there is a God in Heaven who is actively performing miracles here on Earth.
The Recovery:
John's memory as well as his speech was poor when he woke up from the coma. The right-side of his body was also temporarily paralyzed.
As time has progressed, his condition has been miraculously improving. He has regained his memory as well as his ability to speak. He was also recently able to move his right hand and lift up his right leg.
The Need:
John was transferred to Cox Rehabilitation Center in Springfield, MO on August 2nd. Please pray for him as he continues to recover.
John does not have insurance so he is responsible for 100% of all the medical bills. We need your help to assist him to pay for the medical expenses that have been incurred.
