Medical Expenses for Jim Love

Jim Love is an avid motorcyclist, a veteran, and a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He's always been active in his community by helping with youth sports leagues, raising money for ALS, and often participating in many benefit rides around Kansas City. On Sunday January 6th, 2019 he was riding his motorcycle when a car pulled out in front of him and collided with Jim. He was rushed to the hospital with life threatening injuries and he remains there in critical condition.

So far Jim has had a procedure to reduce the swelling on his brain and fix multiple fractures in his ankle and wrist. Jim's medical team is still unsure of the extent of the damage but the prognosis is not positive. Due to his helmet falling off in the accident he has serious brain damage which mean that Jim could have large deficits or may never regain consciousness.

Since he has not regained consciousness he will soon be moved to a long term care facility where he will continue his long road to recovery. To provide Jim the best chance at a full recovery his family is searching for the best care facility most of which would quickly become a financial burden to his family. All donations would go towards paying for Jim's medical expenses or will go towards paying for Jim's long term care.
