Medical expenses for Dora Lazaro

We are humbly asking for help for the Lazaro family: Dora and her two sons, Antonio Jr., 25, and Oliver, 24. They have had a rough couple of years, and have been warriors through it all but now are really struggling.
Mr. Antonio Lazaro, passed away in June 2017. In July 2017, Dora’s sons noticed personality changes and that their mom was not herself anymore. They thought it may have been due to the recent passing of their father. However, her health quickly deteriorated and soon ended up in the Neuro ICU with what doctors thought was a mass in her brain. Due to her little improvement and continued deteriorating health, they performed an emergency craniotomy. After a few weeks, she was on the road to recovery from her surgery.
Unfortunately, in January 2018, she lost her father. While her father was hospitalized, she was also hospitalized for an unexpected long-lasting seizure. After a couple more during that hospitalization, she was diagnosed with a seizure disorder. Her seizures continued regularly until March, when she was hospitalized again for an uncontrolled seizure. After this, Dora was slowly starting to recover and get back to her normal life. She was stable until this past Thursday, when she had another seizure. Yesterday, after doctors were not able to break her continuous seizures, she was transferred to MUSC in Charleston for further management.
Dora lost her job before her first hospitalization, and has not been able to work because of her state of health. She is currently uninsured, and although her sons are working hard to help their mom, they are still struggling to make ends meet. The first hospital stay and surgery was not covered in full by her insurance at that time, which she lost in August of 2017. The subsequent hospitalizations have increased their medical expenses to more than $70,000. This amount is not including this current hospitalization and transfer to MUSC. Her sons are worried about missing work to care for their mom because they really need the funds to cover her medical expenses.
I created this fundraiser to help take some stress off their shoulders. The funds will go towards Dora’s medical expenses and medications. Any amount is greatly appreciated. Please keep the Lazaro family in your thoughts and prayers.

El Sr. Antonio Lazaro falleció en Junio 2017. En Julio 2017, los hijos de Dora la notaron muy diferente, no era la misma persona que era antes. Pensaron que era debido a la muerte del Sr. Antonio. Sin embargo, su estado de salud se deterioró rápidamente y fue internada en la unidad de cuidados intensivos neurológicos. Los doctores pensaron que tenía una masa cerebral. Los doctores tuvieron que hacerle una craneotomía (cirugía cerebral) de emergencia debido a su poco mejoramiento. Después de algunas semanas, ya estaba en camino a su recuperación.
Desafortunadamente, en Enero 2018, falleció su padre. Mientras él estaba en el hospital, ella fue internada por convulsiones y la diagnosticaron con un síndrome de convulsiones. Sufrió varias convulsiones hasta el mes de marzo, cuando fue internada en el hospital de nuevo. Después, de esto, Dora poco a poco empezaba a regresar a su vida normal. Ella estaba relativamente estable hasta este jueves pasado cuando sufrió otra convulsión. Ayer, los doctores decidieron trasladarla al hospital de MUSC en Charleston después de que no podían controlar sus convulsiones continuas.
