Medical expenses for David & Dennis

I do not like having to ask for financial help but my twin brother, David, and I have both been diagnosed with lung cancer. I have undergone 38 radiation treatments and 8 chemotherapy rounds. David has just recently been diagnosed but his condition is much worse than mine in that his cancer has spread to his ribs and his lymph nodes.  He has lost so much weight that he now only weighs 110 pounds. 
David has an important doctor appointment this Thursday to determine his future medical treatments. David and I are 72 years old and don't expect to live forever but we both believe we still have much to give if we can extend our lives just a few years even.
I am scheduled to visit David in September but I worry that I will have to fly to California much sooner just to be with him during whatever happens.
David visited me last year when I was going through my radiation and chemo treatments  and he went with me to comfort me. I hope to do the same for him. 
Although I do not like asking for help I realize that we 
need others to help us as so many of us do as we get older. 
I do appreciate any help that you might be able to give us and I thank you in advance. We both would also appreciate your prayers and thoughts for our healing.
