Medical Expenses for Como & Crosby

Lucky's Place is a true, no-kill cat shelter based in Central Minnesota.  We are entirely donation-based and volunteer-driven, and over the past 10 years, we have found homes for more than 1,500 cats & kittens, many of whom are elderly or have special needs. Every dollar of your support goes to benefit our feline "guests" and to provide them with a safe environment and top-quality healthcare while they await a permanent home.   

Two days ago, a couple of wonderful women brought in our newest guests, Como and Crosby.  As they were leaving work, the women noticed the cats leaning on each other for support as they walked.  The report from the vet today indicates that Como (orange tabby) has a fractured and displaced femur and Crosby (black and brown tabby) has a dislocated and displaced rear hip.  Both cats will need to have their injured leg amputated.  On the bright side, cats can do very well with three legs and these guys will be no exception! They are sweet souls and very resilient.  

Their surgeries are scheduled for December 5th, 2017, and their combined vet expenses are $2,500.  If you're able to make a donation, it would be greatly appreciated! A financial gift of any amount will help.  Thank you in advance for helping these guys out!
