Medical Expenses for Carl Reynolds

If you know my grandfather, you know how kind he is. He has affected so many lives in his 84 years. Regardless of how he does it, if it’s a huge smile that could light up a room, or if he has just taken a minute to really hear you or a simple piece of gum, this man is just special. Recently, he was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. This is not news anyone wants to hear but it seemed to just rock our world because of how special he is. This man would give you the shirt off his back and never mention it again. My very active and mostly healthy grandfather has begun to struggle to do daily activities and unfortunately even breathing has become a hassle. The oncologists have stated this is not something they are able to cure but something we can help and treat with chemotherapy and other medications. My mother took him for his first treatment and unfortunately after insurance they have stated the out of pocket amount we are looking at would be right at $3,000. My mom worked with them and thankfully got it down to $1,200 a treatment IF he sees that specific oncologist that refused him treatment, so we aren’t even sure that is a route we are able to take. He was SO hopeful in starting the treatment. He has told me multiple times that God has this and we will find a way, well we are here… asking for help to find him a way. I know so many of you love him and he’s become a father or a grandfather figure to SO many people. We need help fighting for his life. He needs a win right now and just even prayers if you are unable to help financially.
