<div>I have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. I know there are multiple people and the increase in this condition in women has been great, especially after COVID, so I am very grateful in advance for anything you can do for us.

<div>If I choose to have a Lumpectomy, which means trying to save as much of the breast as possible, I will need surgery on both breasts. If I choose the Mastectomy, which is the complete removal of the breast, it would only be one breast. Still, at the same time, due to my age being under 50, they require me to have several radiotherapy treatments and a pill that blocks estrogen for 5 years.

<div>It has been a moment of rushed decision-making. Short time to decide, to look for different options. A little pressured and feeling overwhelmed. So, I am calling on you to keep us in your prayers in this process. We have recently been blessed to open our own mental health practice, providing telehealth therapy. And because of this situation that I am now in, it will be very difficult for the family business or our practice to continue for a while, until my speedy recovery with the help of the lord, so this affects all of us as a family.

<div>Also trying to stick with a regimen. Where I can normalize my physical health, which is compromised in some other areas, I have decided to travel to Mexico to be able to do a detox, to be able to regulate my system before surgery, so we are hoping that this can reduce maybe the impact this treatment has on my body.

<div>That's why I'm so thankful to God. For everything he has done, because he has people like you, who can support us in different ways. I remember the day I had to do the biopsy. I woke up very nervous and have an application on my phone where the daily Bible verse comes out. I remember that the day the verse was Isaiah 43. And when I read it, I started to cry because I felt that God had already confirmed that yes, my diagnosis was positive, that I did have cancer. But at the same time, he was promising me that I would never be alone and while I read it, Tears came out of my eyes because he told me. Camille, “When you go through deep waters, I will be with you, when you go through difficult rivers, you will not drown. When you go through the fire of oppression, you will not burn. The flames will not consume you, for I, the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, am your Savior.” And I cling to that promise because if you read a little earlier in verse 1, it says to Israel… “the one who formed you says, don't be afraid. Because I have paid your ransom, I have called you by name...You are mine.”
