Med/living expenses for David/Carla

As most of you know, David was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) in August 2017. At the time of diagnosis, he was immediately sent to Sarah Cannon research hospital in Nashville, where he received medical treatment and daily hospital visits for nearly four months.

This cancer forced him to stop all current projects and future job opportunities for the forseeable future. Naturally, this resulted in financial stress for David, and his wife, Carla.

In January of 2018, doctors discovered that David had a more severe and aggressive form of leukemia that has required him to receive treatment at MD Anderson in Houston, TX for the next six months.

Carla has and will continue to stay in Houston with David until he is released to come back home to Nashville. While she has been able to maintain her job at St. B’s, the costs of the illness are beyond income and savings.

This fund has been set up to help offset the stress of living expenses and medical costs not covered by insurance. This includes apartment housing for Carla during the next few months, food/daily needs, and airfare between Houston and Nashville so that she can continue working and see her family.

Thank you for any financial assistance that you are able to give, and please continue to check CaringBridge for all updates regarding David and Carla. God Bless!
