Medical Expense Fund for Daniel Johnson

Daniel Johnson is a 13 year veteran of the South Charleston Police Department.  He has a been member of the drug task force (MDENT) for the past eight years.  Daniel has faithfully served not just the South Charleston Community, but all of our surrounding communities as an officer.   Daniel and his wife Lindsay are the proud parents of Piper (5) and Cale (21 months).
In November of 2018 Daniel had a CT scan to locate the cause of some abdominal discomfort, the radiologist observed what he believed to be Pseudomyxoma Peritonei (PMP), a rare form of cancer.  In January 2019 the diagnosis was confirmed by a specialist at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. On March 18th, 2019 Daniel, along with his wife Lindsay, will travel to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center (Winston-Salem, NC) to have cytoreductive surgery and hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC).   Daniel will stay at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center for 5-10 days prior to returning home, barring any complications.  His wife will remain in Winston-Salem with him during his recovery.  Once home he will continue his extensive recovery from surgery.  
The money donated will help with medical expenses not covered by insurance, as well as expenses while in North Carolina for treatment. 
 Please help in anyway that you can to take financial burdens from the Johnson family so that Daniel can focus on his recovery and get back to serving his community and being active with his family.
