Let’s Help Tierra BEAT rare cancer!

A couple weeks ago our daughter was experiencing abdominal pains. At first we thought maybe she had a stomach virus. The pains persisted and became so severe that we had to take her to the emergency room. Test and scans were performed and the doctors were inconclusive. Tierra was admitted and other scans were performed. We were contacted and informed that our baby had a suspicious tumor. Soon after, the doctor informed us that the scans showed signs of cancer. After surgery, restless nights, and countless prayers, my baby was diagnosed . Our beautiful daughter, age 22 had been diagnosed with a rare form of childhood cancer.

This cancer known as Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumor or DSRCT is so rare that only a hand full of oncologists have had to deal with this type of cancer.  Tierra a college student, beautiful gentle sweetheart, and the most loving person you would ever know needs advanced treatment to have a fighting chance. We are reaching out and asking for your support and prayers to beat this disease.

Tierra and our family will never fight to lose but we know that our chances are dire without your help. Our goal is to not only raise financial support for treatment but to also raise awareness to this rare aggressive disease.
