Medical Equipment for Jackson

Donation protected
Hello, I am a mom of 3 boys and one of them being special needs. My middle child Jackson is 8 years old. He was diagnosed back in 2015 with Autism, and epilepsy. Back in January of 2015 is when we first learned of Jackson's epilepsy. We were on our way to an away basketball game for my oldest son when Jackson began seizing in the back seat. It was the scariest thing I have ever been through in my life. He completely stopped breathing and dad had to preform CPR. In that moment I felt completely defeated as a mother that I could do nothing to help and most importantly scared that we were going to lose our boy. I will tell you when your child stops breathing those few minutes it feels so much longer than that.  He has gone through numerous CT scans, EEG tests, he has been prescribed an anti seizure medication, and we also work with a pediatric neurologist.  We have no answers as to why he has the seizures it's something we may be dealing with for the rest of his life. Fast forward to more than 5 years later and we are steal fighting the Epilepsy. Jackson mainly suffers with nocturnal seizures and for that reason and safety reason ever since that day back in January of 2015 he sleeps in the bed with dad and I. Well he is growing bigger and older and we have recently learned about some medical equipment that could allow Jackson to get back to sleeping in his own bed. It will give him a sense of independence and some peace of mind for dad and I. I am asking for some help to pay for this medical equipment. The seizure alert monitor runs almost 600 dollars and the special camera equipment runs almost 300 dollars. We are not a family that generally asks for help but with being a middle class family, the world being in the middle of a pandemic, and dad losing work hours, I can recognize when help is needed. When we are trying to still maintain our bills and take care of our childrens necessities 1000 dollars is a big chunk of money to come out of our paycheck at once. My family would be grateful for any help that we could get. Even if you can not support financially if you could help share so we can raise the money I would appreciate it so much. Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
