Help for Malkia's fight with Breast Cancer

Hello Family & Friends,

Welcome to the New Year - As 2021 begins, so does my sister's FIGHT.  December 14, 2020, my sister Kia was diagnosed with STAGE 2 TRIPLE NEGATIVE BREAST CANCER.

Kia is one of the most amazing, inspirational women I know. She is a phenomenal mother, an incredible sister, and irreplaceable friend. I'm so blessed to call her my big sister, humbled to resemble her physical beauty, and hopeful to acquire and exemplify the essence of her being.


This type of cancer is aggressive so Kia will be starting chemotherapy treatments very soon. Following chemo, she will undergo radiation. These treatments are the most commonly used to treat this type of cancer. Side effects of these treatments may include but are not limited to immunosuppression, mucositis (inflammation of the lining of the digestive tract), alopecia (hair loss), pain flare-ups, nausea, vomiting, and fatigue. 

Though I will be by her side to support her physically, mentally, and spiritually during this time, I cannot do it all alone and am asking that you all send prayers, love, positive energy, and any financial assistance (no amount is too small). All donations will go toward providing Kia with personal protective equipment,  proper post-op care, medical cost not covered by insurance, respite and childcare related resources.

Please join this fight with KIA however you are able. No matter how big or small-prayers, notes of encouragement, well wishes, positivity, and divine energy are welcomed in the same capacity as monetary donations.
