Medical Brigade for Refugees!

My peers and I are headed to Greece in March on a medical/dental brigade to help out refugees! The Refugee crisis began in 2014 and has affected millions of people. Greece has been one of the countries that has allowed a multitude of refugees to enter their nation. Recently; however, due to an economic crisis in Greece, the unemployment rate is at an all time high, which does not even take into account the numerous refugees that are not employed. By providing these people medical necessities, we can alleviate stress that they may face in terms of their healthcare. During the brigade, we will be helping out licensed health care professionals with numerous tasks which include consultations, triage, pharmaceuticals and just making sure that the refugees have a great experience and leave in good health with smiles on their faces!

I have always wanted to help those that are in need and am really looking forward to this trip to hopefully make a difference in someone's life. The total cost of the trip is $2,050 which includes lodging, food, travel and airfare. Therefore, I will be extremely grateful for any help that can be provided! In return for the generosity, I will be giving each refugee a small gift signed by you and everyone who has donated!
