My name is Jeanne Rech. I consider Cheryl Diebold to be my family. I have known her for 16 years. Unfortunately, Cheryl is not the type to ask for help, but she would give the shirt off her back if someone needed it! For this reason I am setting up this GoFundMe account. Cheryl has been on Social Security Disability for 14 years and has no way to make the money she needs for her medical bills and household repairs. Cheryl is not the type of person that is OK with not paying her medical bills. She is in dire need of help!!
Cheryl is now under going treatment for Stage 2 Non Hodgkin's` Lymphoma for the 3rd time in 8 years! She has done 4 rounds of IV treatments and also has to take a chemo pill for the next year. She has $3100.00 in collections from her treatments 3 1/2 years ago and as of now she doesn't know what her medical bills will be from her current treatments. The type of cancer that she has is a recurring cancer, so it will return again, racking up more medical bills! Also, she was recently told ( 4-2-2018) that the HVAC in her home HAS to be replaced ASAP It is not up to city code, nor is the venting for her water heater. Since the venting to the water heater is not up to code it is releasing carbon monoxide in her home. Cheryl was given an estimate of $8,000 minimum for the HVAC, Everything has to be replaced on the HVAC, ie Both units...AC (which doesn't work at all) and the furnace which is 25 years old and most of the venting pipes. She was scammed by a friend of a friend! She was told the furnace he was putting in was 7 years old but it is actually 25 years old. The man took the coil out of the A/C unit because it was rusted and said he would return with an new one.....he never returned.
Summers in Kansas are extremely hot and humid and with Cheryl's various other medical problems and the added chemo,pill she has to take she really needs her central air replaced! Not being able to pay her medical bills or fix what needs to be fixed in her home makes Cheryl feel worthless and alone.
Please if you can find it in your heart...Help me to help Cheryl ASAP.
