Medical Bills - Heart Transplant

My sisters and I are trying to raise money for our mom - Sherry Ashby. She has been in the hospital since July 8th due to having 2 heart attacks from a blocked artery. While in the hospital, her defibrillator battery failed and she was flown to U of L-Jewish Hospital to have the battery replaced. After the battery replacement, the defibrillator shocked her 12 times, which caused more heart damage and sent her into advanced heart failure. She went from 30-35% Ejection fracture down to 20-25%. The transplant team is completing all work ups to get her onto the heart transplant list. She has to be moved to Frazier Rehabilitation Center to be able to change her Medicare plan to Advantage. After all financials are accounted for, she can be placed on the heart transplant list. We are needing donations to help with any bills she may accrue while in the hospital, as she only has disability coming in. She has a long road to recovery, and we are doing our best to travel to Louisville to be with her. If you want to donate but not through go fund me please reach out and we can meet with you.
