Medical Bills for Rare Cancer
Donation protected
My name is Gabriella Reyes-Miller. On October 16th, I went to the hospital for being unable to lift my legs well. I had low potassium and high blood pressure. After being admitted, tests were ran and a daty later, on October 17th, it was found out that I have cancer.
I have a rare form of cancer called Adrenocortical Carcinoma. Only 1 in a million people are diagnosed with this a year, so I will have to travel to different hospitals to have the best shot at beating this cancer. Once I know where I'm going, I will update it here.
The money raised here will go to food, lodging, monthly bills, medical bills and other expenses that may pop up. Any kind of help will be greatly appreciated as I fight this battle.
UPDATE 1 (11/1): I will be starting my Chemotherapy on Tuesday, November 13th. It'll be outpatient four days a week for six cycles, so I'm glad to be going home every night. From home to the hospital is 30 minutes, so all of your donations is going to a lot of Sheetz points for gas.
UPDATE 2 (11/17): Just finished my 1st round of chemo! It's outpatient and each day had a different time to start so logistics was a pain. I haven't had any side effects yet- if anything I've been more hungry!
UPDATE 3 (11/23): Got admitted to the hospital for cellulitis in my foot. I'll be doing my 2nd round of chemotherapy inpatient, so I will not be returning home until further notice. Hopefully any rehab needed to get me back to walking works swiftly so I can get home before my birthday on the 23rd.
UPDATE 4 (12/16): I just completed my 2nd round of chemotherapy along with surgery to get a liver stent, so the next step is to go to a rehab facility to learn to walk again. Thank you everyone for the donations.
