<div>As many know on October 25, 2023 Bubba was in a horrible car crash resulting in a shattered skull and severe TBI, He was flown to Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte where he was placed on life support and taken into surgery to have 12-15 pieces of shattered skull removed, He was then in ICU where they attempted to remove his intubation tube on October 31, he had to be reintubated the same day pending a tracheostomy that was performed on November 01 as well as placing a GI tube for feeding. November 07 he was released to the Rehabilitation Facility at Levine's where he will be for at least another month. We are unceratin what the future looks like for Bubba, at this time his left eye does not open, he has to wear a helmet as he does not have a skull on the left side of his head while the swelling is still reducing, he can not talk, walk, eat or anything else that he was able to do before this accident and at this time the doctors are unable to tell us when/if he will regain the ability to do these things. They have told us when he comes home from Rehabilitation Center he will require a hospital bed, a wheelchair, a feeding pump, a shower chair, and other medical equipent as well as equipment for therapy needs. He will receive in home and outpatient therapies, a Handicap wheelchair van will be required for transportation for his future doctor visits.

<div>Bubba's mom Kaitlyn and unborn baby brother Maverick did not survive the wreck, his 5 year old sister Natalee was also injured but not as severly physically .. These children will now grow up without a mother and never had the chance to meet the baby brother they were so excited about due to this horrible wreck. The emotional trauma they will both endure for the rest of their lives is something we can not begin to understand
