Medical bills for Kimber

Donation protected
Hi friends. For those of you that know me, you know that my Mom (Kimber) is my best friend. She and my Dad have been my biggest supporters, my loudest cheerleaders, and my superhero's since I can remember, and I have always been blessed to lean on them when I need it.
That being said, for about the last year, my Mom has been struggling with chronic pain and complications from a foot surgery that did not go as planned. This surgery was supposed to have a plate put in to hold her toe at a certain angle, to prevent
Because of the angle the plate was mounted at, her foot will not fit into a standard shoe anymore, and even custom tailored shoes aren't working. Shortly after her surgery, she was diagnosed with CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome), a chronic pain disorder that damages nerve endings and causes almost constant pain. This disorder can be triggered by several things, including trauma and surgery.  Within the last year, my mom has gone from being one of the most mobile, active people I know, to being nearly unable to walk.

She has been to specialists all over the country, tried countless medications, physical therapy, and many other options. Because CRPS can be worsen with additional trauma, having an operation to re-mount the plate holding her toe is not possible. Having any operation or intrusive procedure to help heal the nerves is also out of the question. About a month ago, my parents flew to North Carolina to see a specialist that is globally renowned for CRPS studies and treatments, in hopes of getting some answers. This doctor has been working with ethically sourced stem cell therapy treatments for CRPS patients, but it is extremely expensive. Every 2-3 weeks, my Mom is flying to North Carolina to receive stem cell therapy and consult with her specialist, and we are hoping and praying we have finally found a treatment that works. The hard part is that this treatment is $25,000 out of pocket, as well as regular hospital bills and standard medical expenses. Add on the cost of flights, rental cars, and hotels, and these next few months are going to get very expensive. To make a long story short, bills are getting higher and higher, and my family isn't sure how to pay for all of this.

I have always said my parents are my superheroes. As a young kid, my parents really were superheroes; they could do anything it seemed. My Dad was the strongest person I knew, and he always knew how things worked. My Mom was the smartest person in the world to me, she taught me things I never knew existed, and she seemly knew the answer to every question I had. In my teenage years, as I walked through immense struggle, they always fought along side me, and they never gave up on me. Fast forward to today, I still call on my parents for advice, guidance, and answers to questions and problems I can't solve on my own. Now, for the first time in my life, my superheroes are the ones that need some saving.

This stem cell therapy is the last treatment option we have left to try, and my Mom's first appointment was just a few weeks ago. I am hoping and praying that she is finally able to get some results, and start getting back to some normalcy in life. I know her leg and foot will never be the same, and her pain most likely will not completely go away, but I am desperate for her to finally get some relief.
I am not one to always ask for help when I need it; I'm stubborn and I like figuring things out on my own, but I am asking for any help I get can right now. I would do anything for my family, and I am stuck in a spot where I don't know what else to do to help.

I am hoping and praying for some healing for my Kimber, and I would be SO thankful for anything you can give. Thank you for reading, and please keep praying.
