Medical Bed Desperately Required!

So, as you all know every year for my birthday I usually do a fundraiser for one of my favourite animal charities which fills my heart with joy to do.

This year however, is a little different for me, and a lot more of a difficult ask... I’m not sure how this go fund me thing works but I’ve been told to give it a try.

As you know, I was moved from Essex for my safety two years ago and when I arrived in my new home I had little to nothing. I was so lucky with lots of help from my new neighbours and managed to be gifted a second hand mattress which has served me well, until now, the springs have all SPRUNG!

Since my stroke in February I was left with very limited mobility to my left side and this is making sleeping, and getting in and out of bed very difficult. I require a specialist bed, and I simply don’t have the funding for it. Whilst I may be entitled from funding from local authorities, it is not guaranteed and the waiting time is extremely lengthy and honestly I am at my wits end now so I am sleeping on the sofa with the dogs as it’s easier for me to get up and less painful than being on the broken mattress regardless of the two toppers I’ve managed to buy and place.

So, as this old girl turns 40 in a couple weeks, any contribution to my new medical bed would be so appreciated. I am desperate to be comfortable and for a proper sleep whilst I recover and wait for further treatments and operation.

I hate to ask, and please don’t feel obliged, money is tight for everyone at the moment.
