Medical Assistance for Margie

Marge Kilbane Swan was diagnosed with Breast Cancer over 10 years ago and was able to survive!  However in the past 2 years, it came back.... with a vengeance .... and has settled in her Liver (Stage 4).  Margie is a trooper surviving her own Cancer battles and over the past years loosing her sister, brother and most recently her son to this hateful disease.   Cancer does not discriminate, it doesn't care about your social or financial status and wreaks havoc on not only the person it attacks but family and friends as well. 

Marge is now on a regimen of cancer fighting drugs that cost over $11 thousand dollars a month, with medicare picking up all but $2,900 per month.   Marge and her husband are both retired and when you factor in remaining copay's for medical bills, a mortgage and basic living expenses, the money just isn't there.   The following is a link that shows the costs of current chemotherapy https://health.costhelper.com/chemo.html  

The Burbank Bunco Girls got together and while we provide friendship and emotional support, we know Marge needs more.  So we have agreed to  start this fundraiser to help Marge with the cost of her Chemotherapy treatments and associated Medical costs.   

The funds we collect through this project will go directly to Marge to be used for her fight and support for her continued Cancer treatments.
