Medical and home assistance for Amanda and Nash

Hi friends and family!

I'm starting a GoFundMe for my very best friend Amanda and her wonderful fiance Nash, hoping to spread the word and get them the support they need.

A few years ago, Amanda was diagnosed with a chronic autoimmune disorder called Ankylosing spondylitis (AS). This is an inflammatory disease that, over time, can cause some of the bones in the spine (vertebrae) to fuse. Amanda has already had problems with bones/joints fusing, which causes her chronic pain and an inability to sit or stand for long periods of time. Truth be told, I don't know how much longer she'll even be able to work.

Aside from the pain and mobility issues she suffers from, Amanda has accumulating medical bills that her insurance will not cover. The medications for AS alone cost ~$1200/month on top of the $10,000 in past/current medical bills, Amanda and Nash are just not able to keep up. They have exhausted every financial aid option, and spend hours on the phone trying to find assistance for their bills. This causes time lost from work.

On top of the stress of continuing medical issues, Amanda and Nash have a serious need for unexpected home repairs. They recently found out the structure of their home is compromised, and their crawlspace and roof need repair before further damage occurs.

Amanda and Nash are seriously the most deserving couple I have ever met. It breaks my heart for them to have to go through such difficult times, and I know any little bit that we can raise would be so appreciated, and helpful, to them. They have literally exhausted every avenue for help, and this is a last resort they begrudgingly allowed me to set up in their name.
