Medical Trekking Trip

Family and Friends,

The Lord has opened the door for another opportunity to serve His nations, share His love, and praise His name. God's continual calling in my life and His church body is humbling. 1 John 3:1 perfectly describes this love with, "See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are".  

For almost 10 years now God has been sending a small team of believers every summer to serve His people. This team is made of doctors, nurses and non-medical personnel that have a passion to share their Love for Christ to unreached people groups. Through God's grace and perfect timing I have been given a spot to serve on the team. Did you know that presently less than 10% of missionaries and only about 0.01% of mission funds go to unreached peoples? So much work is still needed to tell the world about Christ!

Because of the inclusive nature of this culture, to keep our team and the people we are ministering to safe, the location of where we are going cannot be disclosed

We will leave July 19^th and return on August 2^nd. I will be on a team that will hold medical mission camps in remote villages, helping with medications and handing out toothbrushes and other health care necessities. I will also go with the missionaries there as they visit and tell people about Christ.

Most importantly I am asking for your prayers for this trip. We know through prayer God provides protection, peace and sustenance. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7). Please pray for our team, the people we will serve, and the financial needs to be provided for our team.
