Barrett Elementary Harvey Fund

Hurricane Harvey devastated Texas after making landfall last month. The category 4 storm is the worst the United States has seen in over a decade. Thousands of people statewide have been affected, but together we can make a difference during this catastrophe. One of our (Medallion Transport Holdings) heavy haul companies, NHH Services has offices in Baytown, TX and we are aware of the great need caused by this tragedy.  We have trucks, drivers, owner-operators and freight agents who have been directly affected as well. Through our connections in Baytown, we have reached out to a school, Barrett Elementary in Crosby, TX, which is about 20 miles from Houston. We have directly communicated with the school and Principal Karen Walthall to help almost 60 families in need with expenses including home repairs (both major and minor), aid to pay utilities and other living expenses. Some families have been completely displaced from their homes until repairs are made and/or utility bills are paid to turn electricity back on, etc. Join us in reaching our goal of raising $15,000 (hopefully more) directly for these families in Crosby, TX. We have already rallied together to donate supplies, including water, clothes and diapers to some. Through NHH Services,  we were able to drive some items out to Texas the first week of Sept.
