You may have heard on the news that thousands of people are suffering from the devastating consequences caused by the recent Hurricane Harvey. If you have not been informed, below are a few stats that tell part of the story caused by this natural disaster.
· 51.9 – Inches of rain falling over South East Texas from last Thursday night to Monday morning. This is 1” short from breaking US record of rain dropped by a hurricane (1950, Hawaii)
· 49.7 – inches of rain on average per year that normally fall at Houston’s main airport
· 132 – speed of winds affecting some cities in South Texas (in MPH)
· 52% - Expected price tag of repairs over Hurricane Katrina
· 9,400 – flights cancelled since 08/25
· 300,000+ - number of people registered for disaster assistance
In light of this crisis, Service by Medallion wishes to invite all of its clients, vendors, supporters and employees to join us by making a financial contribution in support of the relief efforts taking place in Texas as you read this call for action.
Our program #MedallionCares will match every contribution made by a Medallion employee by 100%, up to a total of $5,000. 100% of the money received will be donated to the American Red Cross.
Our collective giving potential can be very impactful in terms of brining shelter, food, medical care, and professional services to people undergoing this life-changing event.
We encourage you to voluntarily join our cause and share the love with those in most need by 5PM PST - Tuesday, September 5, 2017.

Service by Medallion is an award winning Facility Support Services company servicing Corporate Campuses throughout the West primarily focusing on the Greater Bay Area. Purpose of this campaign:
We are raising money to help victims affected by Hurricane Harvey.
Once the funds are collected after the campaign closes, Service by Medallion will send 100% if the donations collected to the American Red Cross via credit card. The funds from gofundme will be retrieved via EFT, if applicable.
Medallion has no association with the American Red Cross, although we have made several donations to this organization in the past. The funds will be allocated to the Hurricane Harvey efforts and disbursed as the American Red Cross sees fit.
