My Mother is not one to ask for help, at times of need! But she has always been the first, willing and able to look after, take care and provide held to all her elderly neighbors ! She always has been an independent woman , finding always ways to supplement her income , she sells the lotery , at the post office and selectos supermarket , to get by , which now both are closed indefinetally , and receives $235.00 SSI , which the bank takes $183.00 for her loan and of course Gerard and I also pitch in !

A childhood friend of Gerard's just messenger about this gofundme, and many have asked me if I know how they can make direct donations to people in need! And after talking to mom and hearing her voice describing the nature of the people in her immediate section of Lavadero ! I said why not do it!

By creating Meche's Smile Fundraiser it will allow her and her husband the means to have gas in the car , so that they can continue
to charge their phone , so they can be the line of communication for some of her neighbors and families as well as food, batteries etc that are so needed at this time

This will also buy time for Gerard and I to continue trying to convince her to come stay with us for a few month , something she is reluctant at the moment in doing
