Meatball’s Emergency Surgery
Donation protected
A little background on my dog, Her name is meatball and she is a 5 year old Australian Cattle Dog mix. Prior to me adopting her. She spent the first 2 years of her life living on the reservation in Northern Arizona. She was found with two puppies and had to get her hip replaced. Her puppies were adopted out and I was able to take her home. Over the past 2 years she has made everyone she comes in contact with fall in love with her.
On August 26th, I had to take her to the emergency vet due to a lack of eating and excessive vomiting. She was immediately taken into emergency surgery to remove a suspected bowel blockage. While in surgery her intestines started to die so the vet had to remove 2 feet of her intestines. She has been on heavy pain medication and antibiotics since then. Although, the vet capped her hospitalization at $8,500 I am struggling to pay her vet bill. I am so thankful she is alive and healing very well, I just do not have the necessary funds to pay her bill. Anything helps!
