Daily Meals for Williamsburg Doctor’s Hospital

We MUST help our front-line medical providers.  I am Lara Overy, just a citizen trying to do my part in helping our community during this difficult time.  I have lined up 7 local restaurants for each day of the week where they will prepare a meal for 55 Frontline Healthcare Workers for the next 8 weeks.  I will pick up the food and deliver it to the hospital.  It is important that we partner with businesses that have a commercial kitchen for health reasons.  I will evenly distribute the funds raised with each of the 7 participating businesses. Won't you join me in supporting our community during this unprecedented health crisis?  Why the need?  During a conversation with my friend who runs the emergency department at Doctors' Hospital in Williamsburg, I learned the staff are working extra long hours and need to keep up their health and strength with warm meals.  They are having difficulty securing takeout and food delivery from some businesses who fear contracting COVID19.   On the flip side, our local restaurants need more business, so, I thought I would raise funds to purchase meals and deliver to the hospital. This is a win/win for our community.  You get to support our restaurants and our healthcare workers.
