Meagan"s Doctors, meds and surgery!

Hello All! I am Kim Neff, and I am coming to you all for help for my baby sister, Meagan Hemphill. Meagan is a high school teacher who loves life, her pets, and her husband Jeffery. Every day, she makes a difference in the lives of her students —but every day, Meagan lives indebilitating pain. For many years she has had recurring reproductive system issues. She has had five surgeries because of cysts on her ovaries and infections on her tubes, and she suffers from endometriosis. She did everything she could until two years ago to keep one ovary and Fallopian tube, so that she could bear and give birth to her own child. Unfortunately, two years ago she had to have major surgery to remove a huge cyst on that ovary— and once the doctors got inside, they found a bowel obstruction. The doctor fixed that but also had to remove Meagan’s remaining tube and most of her ovary — and along with it any chance she would carry a child. The surgeon had to leave a very tiny piece of her ovary because it was attached to her bladder; he also had to leave her uterus because it was attached to her bowels and bladder. He told us there was a one-in-a-million chance Meagan’s ovary would producer estrogen, so he thought she would not have a monthly cycle any more. She had a few months of pain-free life, but then her agonizing cycles started again —this time every two weeks — accompanied by severe pain and intestinal problems. About two months ago, the pain became unbearable and constant. At that time our mother found three highly recommended doctors and called all of them — but only one had availability to see Meagan the following week. I went with her to that appointment, and during the exam, Meagan cried in extreme pain. The doctor told her he was unwilling to treat her, because there was so much scar tissue and so many adhesions. He referred her to another doctor, and when we finally made arrangements to get her there (she was having car trouble), Meagan was nervous because she did not feel this new doctor would be able to help her. I told her, “We are just going to trust God about it.” When we arrived at the doctor’s office, something told
me to look at the walls. As though God were saying to me, You are where you need to be, I read these words on the wall: “Our mission is extending the healthy ministry of Christ.” God was there, and for the first time, Meagan felt hope! So now we have found a doctor to help, but since Meagan does not have health insurance, I am reaching out to ask people to help her with those costs. She has to have expensive ultrasounds and blood work, and she will be meeting with a general surgeon that will work along side of her gyn. surgeon, due to Meagan’s intestinal issues. I am unsure of the general surgeon’s fees, but Meagan’s prescribed pain medication alone costs $1000. Yesterday when we arrived back at my house, Meagan was feeling very sick. She threw up twice beforeleaving to go back home. She has not really eaten in about a week and a half. My sister has sent me so many texts in the past three weeks that I have become very concerned for her well-being. I have cried so many days and nights, lost as to how to assist her. Can you help Meagan? Please pray for her, and if you can, donate to assist with her care — so that for once in her life, Meagan can be pain-free. I love my sister with my whole heart and can hardly remember what it is like to see her not experiencing great pain. PLEASE PLEASE help me help her! I pray God blesses you all! Thankyou from the bottom of my heart!
