My name is Chelsey and I work with an amazing coworker, Meagan. On Tuesday, December 31st Meagan was on her way to drop her babies off at daycare and then head into work when she was in a car accident. Her car caught fire, Meagan and her youngest have been in the hospital since. Meagan’s youngest Rue, is waiting on CT results to see if damage was done to her pancreas. Rue also has RSV and because of the smoke inhalation from the car fire is being watched closely by medical professionals. Meagan sustained a concussion, and injuries to her shoulder and knees. Her other daughter Marley did get to go home but is now being admitted to the hospital as well. Meagan’s other two children were not with her.

Meagan is a single mama of 4. She comes to work every single day and works harder than most. She puts her whole heart into helping patients and she says everyday how she can’t wait to get off work and go pick up her babies. Meagan’s heart is bigger than the universe.

I am not sure how long Meagan will be out of work, but bills don’t care about that. She also has no vehicle to get her babies around or herself to work when she is released to come back. Being a single mama of 4 with no income and no vehicle isn’t the life anyone should ever have and I want to make sure she can rest easy while she recovers and her bills are paid and she can hopefully purchase a new vehicle. I have already taken care of 2 new car seats for her and would like to be able to help her even more if I can.

No one should have to start the New Year off like this and any help is a true blessing ♥️
