Martha Rodriguez, a teacher at Friona Elementary, is facing a third battle with cancer and needs your help.  She is still making payments on the medical bills from her last fight with this disease and will now accumulate even more debt with this new diagnosis.   Through it all, she remains positive. 

"The cancer has returned to the left side now. He (the doctor) believes he can remove the mass and tether the tongue and not have to do a reconstruction. That is great news! He said the speech therapy will be more intense this time around but I’m up for the challenge! ... Over all I am blessed and God is good. The prognosis could have been a lot worse. Cancer is no joke but it’s going to be ok. This is my third battle with this ugly disease but I’m not backing down!"
