Hi, my name is Matt and I'm raising funds to start a course on Software Testing Essentials with the well-regarded Ministry of Testing. I have been unemployed and unable to get a job for the past two years and I am desperate to find new opportunities.

Despite spending 5 years at the University of Manchester I was never able to finish my degree in Politics and Economics, I spent too much time off ill because of the Crohn's Disease I was diagnosed with in my first year. Since then I was diagnosed with depression & anxiety, and more recently with ADHD & Autism. Since starting on treatment for ADHD in particular I have felt a massive change in my ability to take control of my life, fulfil my commitments, and finish projects, in a way I'd always struggled with in the past. I have been working with an excellent mentor in software testing. She has recommended that I take this course, which will result in a certificate that will hopefully be my first step towards gainful employment in this field.
