<div>During the fight I suffered a complete knee injury:

<li>My ACL – the main stabilizer, is completely torn.
</li>
<li>Both my inner and outer side ligaments are torn.
</li>
<li>My medial meniscus has ripped away from the joint capsule.
</li>
<li>My lateral meniscus has a complex tear, with a piece that has moved out of place.
</li>
<li>On top of that, there’s cartilage damage, fluid build-up and a large hematoma.

<div>This means I’m facing a longer and tougher recovery process than I first thought.

<div><strong>Why I Need Support</strong>

<div>I’m starting this fundraiser because many of you have already reached out and asked how you can help. Something that warms my heart more than I can put into words.

<div>And to be brutally honest: I need the help.
</div>

<div>For the past year and a half, MMA fights have been my only source of income. MMA is my job, but because the sport is illegal in Norway, I don’t have access to insurance like other athletes do, and I don’t have sponsors covering me.

<div>That means all costs for surgery, specialists, physiotherapy and rehab must be paid completely out of my own pocket. At least that’s the situation right now.

<div>My goal is clear: I will come back stronger, and I will reclaim the title in Oktagon.

<div>But to make that happen, I need to dedicate this time to treatment, rehab and smart training. Without the added stress of worrying about finances.

<div>As you can imagine, the next year will cost me more than 150,000 NOK, but to be honest, I can’t ask for more. I’m already looking into finding other jobs while I work my way back. But 150,000 NOK will give me the financial support I need for surgery, follow-ups, and 4–5 months of living expenses covered. Which gives me a much better outlook on my comeback.
